Experienced Chairside Dental Assistant

Tarpon Dental | Full-Time - 32 hours

We are a patient-focused, quality-driven Privately owned dental practice seeking an experienced Chairside Dental Assistant who enjoys being an active part of patient care, treatment planning, and case acceptance.

This is not an entry-level position. We’re looking for someone confident, proactive, and comfortable supporting both the doctor and patients through the treatment process.

What You’ll Do:
  • Provide skilled four-handed chairside assisting.
  • Anticipate the doctor’s needs and help maintain smooth clinical flow.
  • Support treatment plan presentation.
  • Reinforce recommendations and help patients feel confident moving forward with care.
  • Play an active role in treatment acceptance.
  • Communicate clearly with patients and the front office.
  • Maintain organized operatories and respect all equipment and systems.

What We’re Looking For:
  • 2+ years of dental assisting experience.
  • Strong communication and patient education skills.
  • Phone skills.
  • Comfortable discussing treatment and answering patient questions.
  • Calm, professional, team-oriented attitude.
  • Reliable, accountable, and motivated to grow.
  • EFDA or advanced experience a plus (not required).

Compensation & Schedule:
  • $22–$30/hour, based on experience.
  • Full-time (approximately 32 hours/week).
